Identifying yourself less with your thinking and more with that who you truly are

What would happen if you let go of the image you have about yourself.

If you let go of your name and everything that you identify yourself with when you think about your name.

When I think about these questions what I experience is freedom.

When I let go of that who I think that I am I experience freedom.

I experience more of the being part of being a human being.

I don’t think that there’s anything wrong about identifying ourselves with our names or whatever it is that we identify ourselves with.

As long as we remember that it’s all made up.

If we however become prisoners of our own image about ourselves it might feel freeing when we awaken to recognize more who and what we are beyond that image.

For me I find this especially beneficial if I get caught up in my thinking. If I become judgemental or overly emotional.

Those are the times when I’m most identifying myself with thought.

Sometimes when that happens I like to experiment how my energy changes when I stop doing that. When I stop identifying myself with that who I think that I am and I let go.

I might even go deeper and think to myself what if I didn’t exist. What if Heidi didn’t exist.

And when I do that the most amazing thing happens.

Nothing outside of me needs to change yet, the judgement is gone.

I am simply being. Having an experience.

Where the freedom lies

This is not something that we need to do. We don’t need to imagine ourselves being gone when we feel negative and want to feel good again.

Yet having a deeper understanding about this is where the freedom lies.

Knowing that the hard part of life is us experiencing a thought and identifying ourselves too much with our thinking.

And that freedom resides in recognizing more deeply who and what we truly are beyond that thinking.

Who and what we already are.

Feeling good again is only ever one thought away.

Experiencing freedom is only ever one thought away.

Nothing outside of us needs to change and yet, we can awaken to experience more of the freedom and wellbeing that we are made of in this very moment.

We can awaken to recognize more of who and what we are from the core of our being.

Beautiful beyond measurement.

And that’s where the freedom lies.
