Is it possible to find gratitude in the middle of uncertainty?
What we may many times hear is that we need to cultivate the feeling of gratitude. We need to work on finding that feeling of gratitude in order for us to bring more good things into our lives.
What I’m going to talk about today is something simpler than that.
We may find that feeling of gratitude naturally no matter where we are in life.
There are always two systems we may tap into.
What many of us we are used to make use of and identify ourselves with is our personal thinking. Our own opinions, preferences and ways of seeing life.
If we concentrate too much on this personal view of ours and the way our outside world appears to be for us, without being able to recognize the bigger picture, we many times find ourselves sooner or later in the middle of confusion.
The way we see our outside circumstances is very subjective and our feelings tend to stay more in that negative spectrum of our human experience.
But there’s also another way of seeing life. Another source that we may tap into.
Instead of focusing too much on the outside world we may turn within and view the world through our own innate wellbeing.
We may tap into that source that lies within everyone of us and is the source of our wellbeing.
When we tap into this source we naturally see the bigger picture. We feel more in peace with life and we become more resilient.
From this place we naturally find that feeling of wellbeing and gratitude.
Gratitude is the natural by-product of us connecting more with that who we truly are.
There’s nothing that we need to do, but connecting more with that deeper feeling is what naturally brings that feeling of gratitude and wellbeing into the surface.
At the moment we are facing a time that if we only focused on the outside world every single one of us should feel confused. There’s so much happening in the world at the moment. So many things that we need to give up in order for us to see the new unfolding.
However this is not my experience.
For the majority of the time I have found myself feeling peaceful. Feeling grateful.
And I have seen the same in so many others around us.
There’s nothing wrong about feeling confused, uncertain or fearful. In fact it’s all natural and what happens to all of us when we get too caught up in our thinking about the outside world.
Knowing that there’s another way, another source that we may tap into is the key.
It’s the way for our wellbeing, gratitude and these deeper feelings of love and contentment.
It’s the way to the world we want to see unfolding in front of our eyes.
With love,
Heidi
